Orthopedic Medical Office Building
Wabash General Hospital
This 12,000 sq. ft. orthopedic medical office building for Wabash General Hospital is a P G PreFAB project which offered a fast track, affordable solution for this critical access hospital group.
P G provided extensive site planning for this project, as this medical office building is placed on a parcel which is not adjacent to the hospital campus but across a roadway. Placing the Orthopedic MOB within 250 yards of the hospital was paramount for this client in order to meet with CMS reinbursement regulations.
The Wabash General Hospital celebrated the Grand Opening of this facility in July 2011.
Featuring clerestory windows with a central reception/check-in/check-out kiosk, the entry sets the tone with a patterned floor which is repeated throughout the facility. Offering patients easy wayfinding icons to the physical therapy waiting area to the right or physician waiting to the left, the entry offers beautiful architectural elements and colors which enhance the patient experience.
The building houses an X-ray room, casting room, 6 exam rooms, 6 offices, admission area, staff lunch room and meeting space The Physical Therapy Department consists of 4 private and 4 semi private treatment rooms, along with 2 offices and staff work area.
