Expansion & Growth

This $32 million project is a collaboration of P▪G Architecture/Design-Build and TRO Architecture of Boston, MA. This joint venture brings together the best possible solution to a most challenging design problem. Coordinating budgets, schedules and imagery with functional design and neighborhood development is another example of SwedishAmerican’s role as one of the nation’s top 100 hospitals as well as their commitment to the Rockford community.

This project is phase I of a five to seven-year multi-phase Master Plan for SwedishAmerican Hospital. Phase I of this expansion project involves a 60,000 sq. ft. new Emergency Room addition, a new main entry focused to the North, a public concourse, and restructuring of internal circulation.
