The existing 10,000 sf facility is located on the Freeport Memorial Hospital campus and provides medical oncology, hematology and radiation oncology services.  PG Architecture Design/ Build has been commissioned to design a new 3,000 sf addition specifically for chemotherapy services.  The building addition will provide eight (8) open infusion bays, hospitality area, nurse’s station, drug mixing room, and typical support spaces.  The main infusion space will feature a vaulted ceiling, simulated fire place, art glass panels, and large exterior windows looking south into a new healing garden.  Construction is anticipated to start in the Spring 2011.
